United Way of Calgary and Area is about people helping people and about building our community. We give support where and when it is needed - by investing in our community and supporting programs and initiatives in Airdrie, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks and Strathmore.

Our vision is bold, dynamic and within our grasp. United Way works year round to make Calgary great for everyone. We do this by engaging the community and leading change on priority issues. People from all walks are encouraged to support us with their time, influence, donations and knowledge.
Our collaborative approach:
- Strengthens Calgary and area’s network of services and the capacity of the community and its not-for-profit social agencies
- Focuses on the underlying causes of social problems and issues
- Influences public attitudes, system and policy
