In September 2007, United Way of Calgary and Area implemented a newly developed Third Party Events Agreement and process.

This agreement and process are meant for individuals, groups or companies that wish to run a third party event with proceeds to benefit the United Way. These events typically happen outside of the workplace campaigns and are often imbedded in the community.  An example of this type of event would be the partnership with Globalfest that United Way had in their inaugural year or last year’s Women and the History of Hair event. 

These documents outline expectations for the event organizers and detail how United Way will be able to support them in their efforts.
