Supporting our city is everything.
Mark was a United Way and community supporter before his family ever needed help.
Their family's life changed when his son Gage was born with Down syndrome in 2010. A happy addition to their family, Gage receives extra support from programs supported by United Way, helping ensure he reaches the same milestones as other children his age.
Mark is Calgary.
As a result of the support from United Way and partner agencies, Mark's family is happy and thriving in their community.
In 2015, over 3,800 kids were helped to develop their social and communication skills thanks to United Way investments.
Calgary is a community of people. Meet a few of the 177,000 people like Mark and Gage who were helped in 2015.
