Shaw Charity Classic to benefit All In for Youth

Shaw Charity Classic RGB jpegCalgary youth will once again be winners of this year's Shaw Charity Classic.

The second annual PGA TOUR Champions Tour event will benefit eight youth-focused charities in Southern Alberta including All In for Youth, a citywide initiative focused on school completion. Developed by United Way of Calgary and Area, the goal of All In for Youth is to reduce the high school dropout rate in Calgary by 50% by 2017.

"The Shaw Charity Classic's support of local kids makes our city stronger," says Lucy Miller, United Way's President & CEO. "We're thrilled to be an official charity partner."

Last year's inaugural tournament raised $2.27 million for local youth-focused charities, including All In for Youth.

Big thank you to BMO Capital Markets which generously donated the use of their private skybox suite on the 15th hole, to United Way for 2 days - August 29th & 30th.
