Canada's first digital poverty simulator launched

1 in 10 Calgarians live in poverty, making decisions to stay afloat and get through each month. Make the Month is a digital simulator allowing Calgarians to experience living in poverty and face those same decisions that will either make or break the month. This interactive experience shows Calgarians the realities of surviving day-to-day, paycheque-to-paycheque and the impact that has on your overall well-being.

Make the Month was developed in partnership with Imperial to illustrate the challenges of poverty. Working with Park Digital, the simulator is the first of it's kind in Canada and a great way to experience making difficult decisions in order to stay afloat.

Can you make the month? Share your experience on social media using #makethemonth.
