Policy & Research

The department’s focus is on establishing United Way as a leader and centre of knowledge on key social issues. Research, policy and government relations efforts of the team will be coordinated for maximum effect.

A focused approach to these areas results in a deep understanding of issues and helps United Way direct the efforts of our internal expertise in a targeted way, including working with our government relations committee to maximize research and towards policy or systems changes which create long-term positive outcomes.
