United Way actively works with all areas of the community to address the root causes of major social issues throughout Calgary and the surrounding area. We could not do this important work without the support of our donors.

In 2012, excluding sponsored events, United Way estimates its fundraising costs to be 11.9% of campaign revenue, estimated at $55 million. This is well below the Canada Revenue Agency standard of 35%.
