Area Community Partnerships

United Way of Calgary and Area understands that social issues also exist outside the city limits, and support is needed in Calgary’s surrounding communities. We also recognize that many residents of these communities commute to Calgary for work and give to United Way of Calgary and Area in our annual campaign. That’s why we’ve partnered with the towns of Chestermere, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks and Strathmore*. By forming partnership committees made up of local residents, we ensure that funds raised are invested where they are needed most.

*Programs in Airdrie are funded as part of United Way of Calgary and Area’s investments.
