Special Initiatives
As a community leader dedicated to positive change, United Way works with others to understand the underlying causes of social issues. We are the driving force behind several large-scale initiatives and projects that are brightening the future for many Calgarians.
By using a collaborative framework, a wide range of approaches and working with numerous groups - including those affected by social issues - we are able to reduce or even remove the barriers so often created by social issues.
United Way of Calgary and Area is proud to present the Leading Boldly Network. The Leading Boldly Network will invest in nine partner organizations, which meet or exceed United Way’s expectations, to collaborate on innovative approaches in order to achieve greater community impact and solve social issues.
