United Way of Calgary and Area and Shell have partnered to help new immigrants to Calgary find meaningful employment. The Shell Immigrant Employment Project launched in 2007 with a $1.8 million community investment from Shell. This project works to eliminate the barriers immigrants face in finding meaningful employment and brings employers and skilled immigrants together.
The Shell Immigrant Employment Project is supporting a number of initiatives that bring the immigrant talent pool and the need for a highly skilled labour force together. If you’re interested in getting involved, here are some of the ways you can participate:
