Donation Information

Your donation to United Way is an investment in our community. It supports people in need. It supports our search for solutions to key social issues. It strengthens the network of care for individuals and families in our community.

United Way of Calgary and Area was able to invest $45.2 million in the community in 2010 into our three priority areas.

An investment of $9.3 million went into supporting children and youth to reach their potential, $12.2 million went towards helping families and individuals achieve financial stability and independence, and $23.6 million was invested in strengthening neighbourhoods and creating opportunities for a better life for everyone.

United Way is investing Calgarians’ donations to help improve lives for economically challenged families and reduce poverty, support people living in vulnerable situations, and ensure success for children and youth.
