WHO WE ARE

United Way of Calgary and Area is governed by well-defined policies and procedures which are aimed at protecting the rights of our donors and those our organization serves.

Both board governance and fiduciary stewardship are significant focus areas for United Way and important attributes of the organization.

As well, we demonstrate strong stewardship of all our donor funds through sound governance and effective controls. The accounting firm Deloitte LLP ensures that our financial statements are accurate and we operate in a fiscally responsible manner. And, with a focus on outcomes, we strategically deploy these resources to measurably affect the lives of all Calgarians.
