Calgarians are great at supporting one another during tough times. We saw this during the flood, and anytime our city needs support. When the crisis isn't as clear cut, it can be hard to know where to turn for support.
Below are a few of the programs and supports available to all Calgarians, individuals and families facing any difficult circumstance.
Calling 2-1-1 connects Calgarians with information and referral services. It's available 24/7 in over 200 languages.
Municipal, provincial and federal government benefits are all available to help meet basic needs, access childcare and more.
United Way has produced a series of guides to walk Calgarians through economic challenges, finishing high school, accessing ID, and more.
