The United Way of Calgary is working with the Canadian Outcomes Research Institute (CORI) to move to an outcome-based planning model.
Through this work, United Way supports agencies in organizational readiness and incorporating outcome evaluation into the delivery of their services. The outcomes strategy is based on research and experiential learning by United Ways across North America.
CORI provides a variety of services to agencies, among them:
Organizational outcome assessments
Board outcome training and development
Logic model development
Research and evaluation design assistance
Selecting and using a database
Designing measurement tools
Measuring outcomes
Providing the analysis on the information and helping to use the information to build stronger programs and focus on client impact
