RocSpence largeRoc is Vice President Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Seastar Chemicals, a global leader in the chemical manufacturing industry.

Roc was the Chairman of the United Way Community Leaders Program from 2012-2015 and was elected to the United Way Board of Directors in 2016.

Roc is a long serving Board Member on the Calgary Stampede Board, Winter Start Events Ltd. and the founder and President of the National Alpine Training Centre. He was the sport representative to the Canadian Olympic Development Association (CODA) Board from 1996 to 2000. He serves on several corporate advisory boards for leadership and human resource utilization and engagement.

A third-generation Calgarian, Roc is committed to building a more open, accessible and rewarding community for all citizens of Calgary. The true test of any great City is how we provide the necessary support to those who need a fresh start, a leg up from time to time or a safe and encouraging environment that allow our youth to succeed.

In his spare time, Roc rides and drives his horses at his home just west of Calgary. Roc has been married to his wife Lori, for 40 years and they have two grown children.
