2335 Vision:

A Calgary transformed by inspired and
mobilized 23 to 35 year olds and their peers.

2335 is a group of 23 to 35 year olds who work together to engage our peers in understanding social issues and actively creating positive change. Calgary has the youngest population in Canada, and is a unique, entrepreneurial
city where we can leverage the potential of young philanthropists.

We want to model and inspire community engagement in new and creative ways. We want to educate 2335ers to understand and care about social issues, because the more we know, the less we will tolerate. We have identified three ways you can get involved that acknowledge your ability to respond, and will enable you to see real results.

  • Charitable Giving: Donations allow organizations like United Way to help people who are struggling to reach their full potential. Contributing your own dollars to a cause can even allow you to see the change your donation is making in the community.
  • Volunteerism: Nothing is more precious than your time. Volunteering provides hands-on learning opportunities that deepen your awareness of social issues. You can even use your professional skills and talents to help the community and gain experience in your field.
  • Civic and Community Engagement: Awareness and advocacy are important elements in creating change. Voting, activism and other forms of social participation enable you to create action within and beyond your networks, and provide tangible results.

We understand the personal, social and professional rewards you are seeking. We have no doubt there is a volunteer, awareness or donation opportunity that will inspire you.

United Way of Calgary and Area needs people like you to help improve lives and enable people to reach their potential. Your time, your donation and your network can fill a gap – large or small, financial or otherwise – to support charitable work and long-term planning initiatives.

It’s your city to change.
