Our Community Connect Tours are a true learning experience. We take you and your group into the heart of the community to see and understand how United Way programs and initiatives make a difference in the lives of people in need - and how your support makes our work possible.

Visit the Calgary Urban Project’s Family Resource Centre or the Boys and Girls Club of Calgary’s Avenue 15 homeless shelter for youth. Talk to agencies running after-school programs for children or parenting programs for new immigrants. See how theatre connects Aboriginal people to their cultural values and traditions. Glimpse into any number of the 230 programs we fund.

Community Connect Tours are unforgettable, and they’re a way for your group (company, organization, association or community) to champion a social issue or key United Way priority.  Click here to view local agencies who offer programs that United Way helps fund.

We provide the bus and can arrange food, refreshments and presentations for your journey.
