Murray McCann built his reputation in our community by building and rebuilding businesses. He continues to build his legacy by doing his part in rebuilding our community.

United Way of Calgary and Area is very proud to have received a very generous donation from Mr. McCann and his wife Carol of $33,000 in Calgary Co-op gift cards. These will go to those who suffered through the recent flooding throughout Southern Alberta.

The cards will be distributed by United Way funded agencies, particularly those most impacted by the flooding with clients most in need. This includes clients being supported by our formal Community Area Partnerships in the towns surrounding Calgary, with a high priority on High River residents.

Thank you Carol and Murray McCann for your leadership and generosity as we work together to rebuild our community.
