Superkid to climb Calgary Tower to feed hungry kids

Tyler Weninger's Steps of KindnessOn Saturday, May 3, local superhero Tyler Weninger will be climbing the Calgary Tower to raise money for United Way of Calgary and Area and Wood's Homes' breakfast program at Children's Village School.

"Many local kids here in Calgary go to school hungry," Tyler says. "I'm fundraising to help feed Calgary's hungry children."

Tyler and his team of students are raising 5 or 10 cents per step in the tower - 802 steps to be exact.All donations are welcome though.

You can donate online or bring a cheque to the Calgary Tower on Saturday, May 3 at 10 am. All cheques should be made payable to United Way of Calgary and Area; the Weningers will collect cheques.
