Steve has been a supporter of United Way of Calgary and Area since 2005. As a leader in his company, he established and led a corporate campaign for three years and was a committee member for an additional two years. Additionally, he participated in United Way's Campaign Cabinet for five years as a division co-chair, and has brought his leadership to United Way's Leaders' Cabinet for the past four years.

Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Andrew's varied career has led him to Calgary where he began his MBA through the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. Mid-way through his MBA he started work full-time at the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) in the Markets Division where he has progressed to the Senior Analyst role, focusing on the rules and market for wholesale electricity in Alberta. While taking his MBA Andrew was involved in student initiatives including his role as MBA Student Society President, and has been the Chair of the AUC United Way Campaign for the last three years. He is also entering his third year on the Leaders Cabinet.

Tamara is the Senior Development Officer at Mount Royal University. Her background also includes almost a decade as a senior fund development manager for healthcare in our province. Tamara joined the Leaders Cabinet in 2012 because she is passionate about the reach and impact United Way has in our community to address the root causes of social issues.

As a leadership and business management consultant, Shawn is leveraging a highly diverse career to assist organizations to effectively and strategically manage their business. In addition to helping organizations achieve business success, Shawn believes in dedicating time, energy and resources to the community in which she lives.

United Way is one of the non-profits she chooses to invest with because of the organization's unique role in connecting individuals who want to contribute to investments that will make the greatest impact in our community. Supporting United Way through active membership in the Women's Leadership Council and the Leaders Cabinet, Shawn is helping leverage the experience, innovation and energy to help make our city great.

Janet has more than nineteen years of national and international executive search experience. She was a Partner with Boyden Calgary and was a Founding Partner of Hamilton Hall Soles / Odgers Berndtson. Her commitment to the community includes service as a Co-Chair of the United Way Leaders Cabinet, as a member of the International Women's Forum, as a Governor of the Calgary Petroleum Club and as a former Director of Hull Services. She is drawn to the community impact that the United Way delivers, and finds it exciting to see the passion and the work that goes into building a stronger community through the United Way's leadership
